Nevena Radeva joined Stoeva Tchompalov & Partners in April 2025, having previously worked as a legal advisor at the Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission for more than three years. At this authority, Nevena was involved in the supervision of investment firms, insurance companies and insurance brokers, and in court defence of fines and compulsory measures imposed on regulated persons. During this period, Nevena got a comprehensive understanding and practical experience related to the functioning and enforcement of the non-banking financial regulatory framework. 

In 2011, Nevena moved to the Bulgarian Deposit Insurance Fund, where, as head of the legal department, she actively participated in processes related to the bankruptcy of banks and financial stability. 

Nevena possesses an expert knowledge of a wide variety of securities, insurance and banking law matters supported by a profound understanding of their underlying financial aspects. She also has first-hand experience of financial regulatory disputes and related court proceedings. As an attorney, Nevena’s practice covers areas such as corporate and commercial, licensing of financial institutions, internal control systems and AML, local and international bond issues and banking transactions. 

Nevena holds LL.M from the University of National and World Economy, Faculty of Law (2006) and a B.Fin from the same university, Faculty of Finance and Accounting (2008).

She is admitted to Sofia Bar and to practice in Bulgaria.

In addition to mother-tongue Bulgarian, Nevena speaks English.
